Is life difficult for you at the moment?
Do you need genuinely effective help and support?

Graham Glynn, BACP counsellor and psychotherapistWelcome to my website, my name is Graham Glynn and I am a qualified, experienced MBACP counsellor; I have been counselling for 17 years, the last eleven of which have been in private practice.  In addition to my counselling skills,  I have  a great deal of life experience and, rather than following a 'one theory fits all' appoach, I work very much on a ‘one to one’ basis gearing our work to your own specific needs.

I am a fully registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work according to their ethical framework, offering you a safe space within which you can trust, relax and be yourself. My principal values in counselling are openness and honesty, sharing, empathy and understanding, good humour, commitment, compassion and respect.

Your first one hour appointment is free and enables us to discuss your issues without any obligation to continue with counselling. I provide regular printed ‘handout’ information which is very helpful in explaining the ‘hows and whys’ of the counselling journey.

My Counselling Model.

My counselling model is Integrative/Pyschospiritual (also known as Transpersonal) which acknowledges the concept  that  we each comprise a spiritual presence - in addition to our  mental, emotional and physical qualities (although the model is spiritually based it is non-religious).

The Integrative/Pyschospiritual model embraces a wide range of counselling perspectives and enables us to work with the best and most appropriate one at any given time (these include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Psychosynthesis, Transpersonal, Transactional Analysis, Regression and Inner Child Therapy.) I also have qualifications and experience in NLP and motivational / life-coach training and have found these skills can be helpful with certain issues during the later stages of counselling.

You are welcome to contact me on 01305 816371 or 0753 967 2822 to discuss your issues and/or to make an appointment to visit my DorchesterWeymouth Counselling Practice for a free initial one hour consultation.
